The announcement comes as a shock for one of Hollywood’s most popular couples. The pair collaborated on various projects, including a 2006 film they both starred in, “El Cantante.” Lopez and Anthony also went on tour together during their marriage. "We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters," the couple said in a joint statement, as quoted by Us Weekly. "It is a painful time for all involved, and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."
The high profile couple had married in 2004 after several years of knowing each other. During the 1990s, the couple had dated briefly, according to Us Weekly. Lopez was briefly married twice before to Ojani Noa and Chris Judd. Prior to her marriage with Anthony, Lopez had a high-profile relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs as well as an engagement with Ben Affleck. Anthony broke off his marriage to former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres before marrying Lopez.
